Lynn Meadows Discovery Center

Lynn Meadows Discovery Center offers Sensory Sundays, the second Sunday of each month from 10am – 12pm. Everyone will have the opportunity to have a fun, enjoyable and interactive learning experience in a comfortable and accepting environment! This exclusive free event includes modifications of a less crowded environment and light and sound reduction. The last Friday of every month, from 5pm to 8pm, admission is FREE for everyone! It’s a great time to “treat” friends and family members to a night at the museum!

Dream Program

Provides opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in organized sports, classroom and social activities. All programs are free to participants and their families and include: basketball, softball, bowling, flag football, music classes, arts and crafts, therapeutic horseback riding, water fitness and swimming classes, social dinners, and dances and floats in Mardi Gras Parades.

Fosters physical, mental, and emotional growth of Mississippi's youth with special needs through soccer at all levels and ability of play.

Institute for Disability Studies

Provides supports and resources for individuals with disabilities, families and professionals at no cost. Services include: inclusive art and recreation, family support and engagement, inclusive volunteer opportunities, employment training and transition support. Also houses an extensive lending library offering assistive technology devices and recreational equipment for a no-cost 90 day loan.
